Wade Bale Whiskey Gin Affair 12th May Cape Town

This Friday 12th May, African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel, Cape Town from 6-9pm, Wade Bale presents #WhiskyGinAffair!

If you have a Zen for the finer things in life, then Wade Bales invites you to this uniquely tailored lifestyle experience which has something incorporated for everyone.

This affair will showcase more than 50 limited edition and rare malts from around the world.  New innovative blends: Paul Johns, Dalwhinnie 15, Bushmills Black Bush, Aberlour 18, Singleton of Dufftown 12 and Pogues Irish Whiskey, to name but a few.  Back by popular demand: The Macallan 15 Fine Oak, Highland Park Dark Origins, Bruichladdich Black Art 4.1, Ardbeg Corryvreckan, Glenmorangie 18 Year Old, Glen Grant as well as Nikka …. Japan’s finest!

Leading off from the main showcase areas is the opulent Murano Bar, with its elevated chandelier pod and panoramic view of Table Mountain, Lions Head and Signal Hill, where G.H.Mumm French Champagne will offer guests a delightful tasting of their finest bubbly as well as teach you the fine Art of Sabrage.

Taste, swirl and celebrate the most exciting, fastest growing spirit category… Gin. It’s a versatile spirit with tons of variation between brands. Meet International Gin producers who will explain what makes their tipple so simply irresistible.

Listen out for the Half-Time Bell – where for a limited period of 15 minutes only, you will be able to try rare and limited editions whiskies and gins from “under the table”.

Guests are encouraged to relax and take their time tasting and engaging with whisky aficionados and gin artisans who will expose and share their knowledge and unique insights into helping them find their perfect malt, blend or Gin.

Tickets are R250 per person and with your complimentary glass you will have access to any and all products featured on the night, not to mention the selection of gourmet cheese and artisanal breads included in your ticket price.
