Join Bartholomeus Klip for a family day out in the nature reserve with a picnic-style “Breakfast in the Veld”.

Enjoy a hearty spread from the farm kitchen, with local Swartland wines, craft gins and beers available, as well as soft drinks.

Adults R395.00pp includes a glass of MCC. Menu: Bran and seed muffin with jersey milk and butter / Granola jar with farm yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and honey / Soft brioche roll with fried free range egg and homemade bacon / Home cured meat plate, local cheese and chickpea cracker / Savoury quiche / Roast beetroot, green apple and savoury crumble salad / Dark chocolate and olive oil cake. From Sunday 25 March till 29 July, you and your loved ones can enjoy a traditional Sunday Lunch feast at Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse.

It’s the end of a long week, you don’t feel like cooking, but still want the family or friends gathered around a sumptuous lunch table, sharing hearty, home-cooked food, fun times and stories. Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse has the solution!

Children can run around barefoot, playing hide and seek among the giant trees, or paddle on the dam’s unfiltered mountain water, while you unwind from a week filled with to-do lists and schedules. Remember to pack your cozzies too, for dips in the main pool on the lawn. Let the wonderful chefs of Bartholomeus Klip do the cooking and the serving, while you settle down to a carefree, relaxing day on an authentic African farm. BK is near Riebeeck-Kasteel, only an hour’s drive away from Cape Town. Lunch is lovingly prepared with local, seasonal and top-quality produce, at R280 pp (kids under 12 half price)

Coffee and tea. Starts from 12:00 with drinks and snacks before a laid-back lunch on the deck.
The R280 price per person includes the buffet lunch, tea and coffee but not your bar order. Children under 12 half price!

Any dietary requirements can be can be catered for, so remember to request when making your reservation. Valid from 25 March – 29 July 2018, except on 17 June 2018.

Only on Sundays and must be booked in advance/subject to availability. Excludes bar purchases.
